Greg, whose early education and experience began as a director in live theater, is a gifted innovator with a history of creating unique visionary experiences, usually employing the latest in new technologies. Indeed, his years on the bleeding edge of immersive interactive video in many ways helped break the ground for the world of cinematic VR. He was, at one time, referred to as "the Steven Spielberg of interactive movies".

He was the founder, creative director and CEO of HyperBole Studios, one of the earliest developers of interactive games, film, video, and storytelling, including the hit X-Files Interactive game. The studio's clients included Microsoft, 20th Century/Fox, America Online, Warner Music Enterprises, Lucent, Honda, Interactual, and Artisan, among many others.  Seattle-based HyperBole's award-winning projects grossed over $60M and in 1998 and 1999, it was one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Washington State, nationally ranked in the Fast 500.

His new venture, Parallax Virtual, has extensive experience with high-end cinematic virtual reality production utilizing the latest tools available, including the Jaunt 1 and the Nokia Ozo. Leveraging his decades of experience, Parallax has impressively mastered the production, creative and technical aspects of VR.

In just the last half of 2016 Parallax collaborated on nearly a dozen high-profile, cutting edge projects that encompassed travel, brand campaigns, music, film and television, and original VR narratives.

In addition to several unique creative properties Parallax is again pushing the boundaries of a new medium with the VirtualCinema platform, a powerful creation and delivery environment for creating interactive, cinematic VR experiences with the emotional impact of movies and the interactivity of games.
